This section is for the purpose of making it possible to determine the orbital slot number associated with a spacecraft serial number at a particular epoch. For example, GLONASS-M #727 had been assigned to slot 3 and 4 at different times of its lifespan, whereas slot 23 had been assigned to GLONASS #761/793 and GLONASS-M #714/732 at different epochs. This information can be found in the [http://www.igs.org IGS] [http://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/igscb/station/general/antex14.txt ANTEX] [ftp://igs.org/pub/station/general/igs08.atx file], which uses the convention "RNN" and "RNNN" for orbital slot numbers and spacecraft serial numbers, respectively.
