Lok Sabha còn được gọi là "Viện Nhân dân" hay hạ viên là một trong hai viện của [[Quốc hội Ấn Độ]]. Tất cả các thành viên của hạ viện được các cử tri Ấn Độ đủ điều kiện bỏ phiếu bầu trực tiếp trên cơ sở của [[phổ thông đầu phiếu]], ngoại trừ hai người được bổ nhiệm bởi [[Tổng thống của Ấn Độ]].
