Chúng cũng từng có mặt khắp châu Âu trong quá khứ; dù ngày nay chỉ còn ''[[Macaca sylvanus]]'' ở [[Gibraltar]]. Không rõ quần thể này bản địa Gilbraltar, hay do con người mang tới.
