==Các đập ở thượng nguồn==
Để tối đa hóa tiện ích của đập Tam Hiệp và cắt giảm sự bồi lắng trầm tích từ sông Kim Sa trên thượng nguồn của sông Dương Tử, chính quyền Trung Quốc có kế hoạch xây dựng một loạt các đập thủy điện trên sông Kim Sa, bao gồm đập Ô Đông Đức, đập Bạch Hạc Than, cùng với đập Khê Lạc Độ và đập Hướng Gia Bá hiện đã hoàn thành.
