Chrysolina

Chrysolina là một chi lớn các loài bọ cánh cứng trong phân họ Chrysomelinae. Loài Ch. cerealis và Ch. graminis được bảo vệ ở Anh. Tất cả các loài của Chrysolina sống bằng cây cỏ ăn các loài thực vật đặc biệt, và một số trong chúng từng được dùng làm thiên địch để khống chế các loài cỏ dại. Để khống chế Hypericum perforatum (St John's wort), Ch. hyperici đã thành công trung hòa ở Úc vào thập niên 1930[2][3] và một số loài đặc biệt là Ch. quadrigemina, đã được du nhập vào California vào cuối thập niên 1940.[3][4][5][6][7]
