Dromaeosaurinae là một phân họ của họ Dromaeosauridae. Hầu hết các chi dromaeosaurinae sống tại nơi ngày nay là Hoa Kỳ và Canada (Dromaeosaurus, Utahraptor), Mông Cổ (Achillobator, Adasaurus), và có thể cả Đan Mạch (Dromaeosauroides). Vài chiếc răng bị cô lập tại châu Phi có khả năng thuộc về Dromaeosaurinae đã được tìm thấy tại Ethiopia. Những chiếc răng trên có niên đại vào tầng Tithon, của thời kỳ Jura muộn.^[1]

Tất cả các chi tại châu Á và châu Mỹ thời Creta muộn đều tương đối nhỏ, không hơn 1,8 mét, như Dromaeosaurus và Adasaurus. Tuy nhiêu, có một số chi khá lớn, gồm Achillobator dài 6 mét, và Utahraptor dài 7 mét.

Cây phát sinh loài biên dưới dựa theo nghiên cứu năm 2012 của các nhà cổ sinh vật học Phil Senter, James I. Kirkland, Donald D. DeBlieux, Scott Madsen và Natalie Toth.^[2]
