Helena Bonham Carter
Helena Bonham Carter CBE (sinh ngày 26 tháng 5 năm 1966) là một nữ diễn viên người Anh. Bà bắt đầu làm nên tên tuổi khi trở thành nữ diễn viên trong loạt truyền hình tạp kỹ mang tên KM Peyton 's A Pattern of Roses, trước khi bà đóng vai quý cô Jane trong bộ phim đầu tay của bà. Bà nổi tiếng được biết đến với những vai diễn trong các bộ phim A Room with a View, Fight Club, The King's Speech và nhân vật Bellatrix Lestrange trong loạt phim Harry Potter. Bà thường xuyên cộng tác với đạo diễn Tim Burton trong các bộ phim Planet of the Apes, Big Fish, Corpse Bride, Charlie và Nhà máy Sôcôla, ;Sweeney Todd: Gã thợ cạo ma quỷ trên phố Fleet, Alice ở xứ sở thần tiên và Lời nguyền bóng đêm. Năm 2012, bà thủ vai quý cô Havisham trong Great Expectations và Madame Thénardier trong Những người khốn khổ. Năm 2015 bà hóa thân vào vai Bà tiên tốt bụng trong Lọ Lem.

Helena từng nhận được hai đề cử Giải Oscar cho vai diễn Kate Croy trong phim The Wings of the Dove và Hoàng hậu Elizabeth trong bộ phim The King's Speech. Diễn xuất còn giúp bà nhận được bảy đề cử Giải Quả cầu vàng, một Giải Emmy cho nữ diễn viên quốc tế xuất sắc nhất, ba đề cử Giải Emmy, một giải BAFTA và một giải Screen Actors Guild. Bà đã trở thành người dẫn đầu trong Mệnh lệnh của Hoàng gia Anh (CBE) trong năm mới 2012 cho danh sách những cống hiến to lớn trong phim ảnh.[2][3] Bà còn vinh dự được Nữ hoàng mời tới Cung điện Buckingham vào 22 tháng 2 năm 2012.[4]
Vào tháng 1 năm 2014, Thủ tướng Anh David Cameron đã chính thức thông báo rằng Bonham Carter đã được bổ nhiệm vào vị trí tân Ủy ban Holocaust quốc gia Anh.[5]
