Thời thơ ấu sửa
Hernández sinh ra tại Brooklyn, New York.[2] Anh từng học diễn xuất tại Trung tâm biểu diễn Nghệ thuật Leonard Davis[3] trước khi chuyển đến Los Angeles, California.[2]
