Tiếng Việt: The Navy’s 2007 Pacific Partnership mission marked its mid-point July 25, after completing ten successful days of humanitarian-aid efforts in the port of Da Nang, Vietnam.

During efforts in Vietnam, Pacific Partnership’s military and civilian team of medical, dental and engineering professionals from numerous countries made significant progress in various mission areas. This included the successful completion of several engineering, medical and dental civil-assistance programs (ENCAP/MEDCAP/DENCAPs), as well as a series of community relations projects (COMRELS).

DA NANG CITY, Vietnam (July 24, 2007) – U.S. Navy Capt. Bruce Stewart, Pacific Partnership mission commander, presents a donation from Project Handclasp Luong Thi Huong the Program Director, at the Children of Vietnam organization. Volunteers with Pacific Partnership handed out toys, medicine, and sewing machines to aid the organization. Pacific Partnership serves as an enabling platform through which military and non-governmental organizations can coordinate assistance efforts together with the government of Vietnam.
