CET/CEST/CEDT sửa
Reading this article, it states that CEST could be misunderstood as summer time, and CEDT should be used when it's summer time, and that people tend to use CET for standard time instead of CEST, to reduce confusion.
But all this is wrong, and there has been a mixup with the North American time zone abbreviations. It's true that PT (Pacific time) is the generic term, PST for standard and PDT for summer (daylight savings). But this is not how it works for Europe. The standard time, by definition, is CET (Central European Time) and for summer it's CEST (Central European Summer Time). The terms "Central European Standard Time" and "CEDT" are not used.
As of writing this, it's currently CEST, which will end on 25 October 2020 3:00 CEST and revert back to CET.
