Trong [[tiếng Ingushetiya]] và [[tiếng Chechnya]] chữ А Kirin thể hiện cả nguyên âm [[openrộng backhàng unroundedsau vowel]]không tròn môi {{IPA|/ɑ/}} lẫn nguyên âm [[mid-centraltrung vị vowel]]giữa {{IPA|/ə/}}.
