'''Biến tố''' (tiếng Anh: '''inflection''') là tiến trình thêm một [[phụ tố]] vào một từ hoặc thay đổi từ đó về cấu trúc ngữ pháp. Điển hình nhất là hiện tượng động từ được thay đổi linh hoạt để phù hợp với các yếu tố như ngôi của chủ ngữ, [[thì]].
