Louise (opera)

Louise là vở opera 4 màn của nhà soạn nhạc người Pháp Gustave Charpentier. Chính Charpentier cùng với Saint-Pol-Roux viết nên lời của tác phẩm. Vở opera được sáng tác trong các năm 1889-1896[1] và được trình diễn lần đầu tiên vào ngày 2 tháng 2 năm 1900 tại Opéra-Comique, Paris, Pháp. Tác phẩm mang cảm hứng của chủ nghĩa biểu hiện và chủ nghĩa siêu thực[2].

  2. ^ Only Charpentier’s name appears as librettist on all printed sources, but evidence unearthed by Saint-Pol-Roux’s biographer published in 1952 noted that among the poet’s papers were 'about fifty pages' which contained multiple drafts for the libretto. At some point after the spectacularly successful premiere, Saint-Pol-Roux seems to have relinquished his rights to Charpentier for a lump-sum payment. See Huebner S.
