Dưới đây là danh sách công cụ mà tôi sử dụng để tuần tra hình ảnh Wikimedia Commons và cách sử dụng.
QuickDelete sửa
Quick Delete: Thêm các liên kết hữu ích vào các trang tập tin để gắn thẻ thiếu nguồn gốc/giấy phép/quyền hoặc để yêu cầu xóa và thông báo cho thành viên tương ứng.
Để kích hoạt, đi tới trang tùy chọn tiện ích, tìm đến Maintenance tools và kích hoạt QuickDelete và AjaxQuickDelete, sau đó ấn lưu tùy chọn.
Sử dụng sửa
Đối với AjaxQuickDelete:
- Để tạo một đề nghị xóa, nhấn vào Nominate for deletion và nhập lý do, sau đó nhấn xác nhận.
- Nếu có nghi ngờ về bằng chứng cấp phép của tập tin, nhấn vào No permission. Tập tin sẽ được gắn thẻ {{No permission since}} và sẽ xóa sau 7 ngày nếu như vấn đề về cấp phép sử dụng tập tin không được giải quyết qua VRT
- Để yêu cầu đổi tên tập tin, ấn vào Move trong menu Công cụ và chọn tiêu chí phù hợp trong bảng hiện ra. Xem tất cả tiêu chí tại COM:FR
Đối với QuickDelete, bạn có thể tự cấu hình cho mình các bản mẫu và lý do xóa, tùy theo cá nhân thành viên. Dưới đây là ví dụ để cấu hình công cụ QuickDelete. Mã nguồn được lấy từ User:Minorax/common.js, các tuần tra viên của Wikimedia Commons thường sử dụng config này.

UserMessages sửa
User Messages: Thêm một liên kết "Notify this user" trong thanh công cụ, giúp dễ dàng gửi các bản mẫu cảnh báo/thông báo vào trang thảo luận của thành viên bạn cần khi làm việc trên Commons. Chú ý: Không được spam trang thảo luận của thành viên.
Danh sách bản mẫu thông báo thường được dùng tại Commons có thể được tìm thấy tại đây.
Sử dụng sửa
Tương tự như QuickDelete, UserMessages cũng có thể được kích hoạt trong trang tùy chọn. Để kích hoạt, đi tới trang tùy chọn tiện ích, tìm đến Maintenance tools và kích hoạt UserMessages, sau đó ấn lưu tùy chọn
Để gửi tin nhắn/thông báo cho thành viên, hãy đi tới trang đóng góp/trang thành viên/thảo luận của thành viên, chọn Notify this user trong menu công cụ và chọn một thông báo phù hợp.
Ví dụ sửa
Để gửi cảnh báo cuối cùng một thành viên, đi tới trang thảo luận thành viên và nhấn vào Notify this user. Tại mục Select the template to be added to the user's page. Insert text into the box to filter:, chọn End copyvio - Give user a final warning because of previous copyright violations và ấn Add template. Kết quả sẽ trông như này.
Google Images & TinEye sửa
Công cụ giúp bạn tìm kiếm hình ảnh trên Internet, nguồn tìm kiếm là Google và TinEye.
Sử dụng sửa
Tương tự như QuickDelete và UserMessages, công cụ này là một tiện ích có thể được kích hoạt trong trang tùy chọn. Để kích hoạt, đi tới trang tùy chọn tiện ích, tìm đến Maintenance tools và kích hoạt Google Images & TinEye, sau đó ấn lưu tùy chọn. Nếu bạn dùng giao diện di động (Minerva), bạn cũng có thể kích hoạt Google Images & TinEye phiên bản di động.
Để bắt đầu tìm kiếm hình ảnh:
- Trên giao diện máy tính, nhấn vào Google Images hoặc TinEye trong menu Công cụ.
- Trên giao diện di động, nút Google Images và TinEye sẽ hiện ra ngay trên tiêu đề tập tin.
Khuyên bạn nên sử dụng TinEye thay vì Google vì kết quả từ Google thường không chính xác.
