The text and the title is not corresponding to each other. Anh and the UK is not the same thing. It is a common mistake. I do not know the right translation for the United Kingdom. I think the title should be vương quốc Anh Joakim Löfkvist 19:02, 3 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- Yes, that's correct, according to [1], which calls the UK by its formal name, Liên hiệp Vương quốc Anh và Bắc Ai-len. It's basically "United Kingdom of England and Northern Ireland," whereas the official name is "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland." I don't think it's necessary to use the entire formal name as the title of the article (that could be in the introductory sentence), so what you suggested is good. – Minh Nguyễn 01:07, 4 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- With all due respect, I'm not sure what the source says because it doesn't work, but this article and your explanation given are inaccurate. The official name for England is England. England is a country and one part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain includes England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland isn't part of Britain but is part of the United Kingdom. England and the United Kingdom are not the same thing and should never be regarded as such.
