Hypolimnas bolina
Hypolimnas bolina, cũng gọi là Bướm Mặt Trăng xanh ở New Zealand hay Common Eggfly,[1] là một loài bướm ngày thuộc Họ Bướm giáp. Thân màu đen với sải cánh khoảng 70–85 milimét (2,8–3,3 in). H. bolina is found in Madagascar trong west, through to South và Đông Nam Á, South Pacific islands (Polynésie thuộc Pháp, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu), and occurs in parts of Australia, Nhật Bản, and New Zealand.

Ấu trùng loài này ăn các loài cây Fleuria interrupta, Sida rhombifolia,[2] Elatostemma cuneatum, Portulaca oleracea, Laportea interrupta,[3] Triumfetta pentandra,[4] và Asystasia. Ngoài ra còn ăn các loài cây Elatostema cuneatum, Fleurya interrupta, Pseuderanthemum variabile, và Synedrella nodiflora. ==Subspecies== Hypolimnas bolina is divided into eight subspecies:[5]
